I know I have received other awards.  I’m sure I have been given the occasional cash bonus but I don’t remember cash after it has been spent.  Somehow, that particular desk set combined beauty, utility and adaptability in a way that makes it timeless.

 Jonah Lehrer, the author of How We Decide, was interviewed by Fresh Air host, Terry Gross last year and was asked how he came up with the idea for his book on decision making.

On a recent visit to the local middle school year book class, I learned that the teacher and students planned to buy some ‘branded’ sweatshirts. In the past the young journalists who worked on the yearbook had ordered sweatshirts with silk screen type on the left chest saying “Yearbook Staff” and they wanted to do something like that again.

It's All About The Swag...Sports & Outdoors

I still call it the Dallas Show as we spent so many years attending the show in Dallas. There are things I still miss at not having the show in Dallas as opposed to Las Vegas. Oh sure the current location is fast and easy to get into and out of, the hotels and amenities are cheaper and many could argue the attractions are many. PPAI was likely wise to move the show, it seems more successful than those waning years in Dallas. Still I miss the lobby scene at the Adolfus Hotel.

Today we met with one of our favorite bag manufacturer's. They were one of the first factories to market with the reusable grocery totes, but this post is not about a reusable grocery tote…

It's All About The Swag...Packaging

I opened the invoice from the BBB today and saw a note that MadeToOrder received an A+ rating.  It is always great news to see an A+ on anything, particularly for me.  As a much younger man in my school days an A+ was an elusive creature.  B’s were about the best I could hope for at the time.  Funny how that A+ rating still conjures up the feelings of school, how embedded the “grades” have become into all of our lives.
